A new contract, financing arrangement, acquisition or restructuring has accounting consequences that need to be worked through before the treatment is finalised.
Management needs a properly researched and documented position setting out the facts, relevant accounting requirements, analysis and conclusion.
The change may affect more than the financial statements. Accounting policies, calculations, data, processes, systems and disclosures may all need attention.
You have a capable finance function but no dedicated technical accounting team, or simply need additional specialist capacity when questions arise.
Clear, documented analysis for specific accounting questions, transactions and judgements. Helping you reach the right conclusion with confidence.
Discuss a technical issue →End-to-end support for new standards and major changes. From impact assessment and policy drafting to disclosures, systems readiness and training.

Discuss on-call support →Current implementation priorities
UK GAAP changes now in effect
Most amendments from the latest Periodic Review apply to accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2026. Revenue and leases are among the most significant changes. For businesses already in their 2026 reporting period, implementation is no longer a future exercise.
FRS 102 Impact & Gap Assessment
Identify affected contracts, accounting policies and reporting areas, understand the financial impact and establish what needs to change.
FRS 102 Implementation
Move from assessment to execution, including technical accounting papers, contract reviews, calculations, policies, transition adjustments and financial-statement changes.
2027 reporting starts with 2026 data
IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements becomes effective for annual periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027 and is applied retrospectively. For December year-ends, 2026 is already the comparative period.
IFRS 18 Impact & Readiness Assessment
Assess income-statement classification, required subtotals, management-defined performance measures, aggregation and disaggregation, disclosures and the effect on existing reporting processes.
IFRS 18 Implementation
Translate the assessment into accounting positions, reporting formats, policies, data requirements, processes, controls and financial-statement changes ready for transition.

The engagement might result in an accounting paper, technical opinion, contract assessment or review of an existing accounting position.

Discuss a Technical Issue →For accounting changes that require more than a technical conclusion.
This can include new-standard implementation, IFRS conversion, group restructurings or other projects requiring analysis, calculations, accounting policies, reporting changes and implementation support.
Scoped and quoted according to the complexity and work required.
Discuss an Implementation Project →Ongoing access to specialist technical accounting expertise without maintaining a dedicated technical accounting function in-house.
